BBC Suspends Top Gear Host For “Fracas With A Colleague”

firedBBC has suspended one part of the hit TV show Top Gear duo.

Jeremy Clarkson who hosts the car show along with James May was suspended for a fracas with a BBC producer,” the broadcaster said in a statement.

“Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation,” they said. “No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday.”

Clarkson allegedly punched the male producer in the face, and that is the stroke that finally broke BBC’s back.

Clarkson’s fans have however not taken BBC’s decision to suspend him lying down; they have started a petition on social network using the hash tag #BringBackClarkson. They riley behind him and are demanding that BBC bring him back.

This is not the first time the highest paid presenter in the BBC network has been a centre of controversy, earlier this year he had to apologize for using a racist term during taping of the show.

In other news, top gear festival that was to be held in South Africa has been “Suspended” too.
