A machine that is said to be able to detect and cure aids in Egypt is under investigation after many medical specialists complained to the court that it has no scientifical prove/ backing to assure people that it can really detect or cure the disease.
The country’s chief prosecutor has asked the military prosecutor to investigate if the devices that investors claim that they can detect and cure AIDS and hepatitis have been dismissed by expect both locally and abroad.
The official said on Wednesday the investigation comes after a lawyer filed a complaint against the inventors, who include a now-retired army chief engineer and another military officer. The official says the complaint accuses the inventors of misleading the public.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity as he wasn’t authorised to speak to journalists.
In February, military officials announced the devices detect and cure the diseases with electromagnetism, a claim not backed up by any scientific literature and derided by experts.
