The flamboyant 53 year old revealed that he and his human rights lawyer boo Amal Alamuddin will tie a knot in Italy towards the end of the month.
Speaking during his acceptance speech at the Celebrity Fight Night event on Sunday night in Tuscany, Italy, he told the audience: “I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places.”
The two have secured their marriage licence at Chelsea Town Hall in London last month – are planning to write their own wedding vows for the romantic ceremony and will exchange them in front of a handful of guests.
A source close to the couple revealed that Clooney doesn’t want an over the top ceremony, he wants something small and intimate with close friends and family.
The two reportedly will write their own vows, because they want them to be ‘short but meaningful”.
To all the single ladies out there stay strong, there plenty of fish in the sea.
