Nile River

The Nile river is legendary, it runs through 10 countries in Africa, that is just too great and on top of that it’s the longest river in the WORLD.

Though many associate the Nile with Egypt good news is you don’t really have to be in Egypt to see this wonderful wonder of nature, you can catch it in Kenya, South Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda.

There are two tributaries the ‘White Nile’ and the ‘Blue Nile’. Below Renk the White Nile enters Sudan, it flows north to Khartoum and meets the Blue Nile. Just amazing you have to see it.

Victoria Falls

Featured in the 7 world wonders lists, and deservingly so, because it is a beautiful and breath taking sight. The falls bound Zimbabwe and Zambia in Southern Africa.

The Victoria Falls are just over 1 mile wide (1.7 km) and 355 feet (108 m) high. During the wet season over 500 million liters (19 million cubic feet) of water plummets over the edge into the Zambezi River.

You can also try your hand in bungee jumping at the falls.

Mount Kilimanjaro

All those who want to go down in history, do so by trying to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the highest mountains in the world and the highest in Africa.

Its highest point, Uhuru Peak, rises to an altitude of 5,895 m (19,341 ft) AMSL (Above Mean Sea Level), wouldn’t you just love to get that high further more Kilimanjaro has a large variety of forest types over an altitudinal range of 3,000 m (9,843 ft) containing over 1,200 vascular plant species. Now do you want to be in Africa and miss all of that?  

Table Mountain

Books have recorded that almost 20 million visitors have been to table mountain, now doesn’t that tell you something about the legendary nature if this place? It was named as one of the 7 world wonders earlier this year, the mountain is rich in vegetation with a vast of biodiversity ranging from Peninsula Sandstone Fynbos, but endangered Peninsula Granite Fynbos, Peninsula Shale Renosterveld and Afromontane forest occur in smaller portions on the mountain.

Once you there you can ride on the cable way to explore the deeper and inner parts of the mountain and more.
