The one common fact about carrots that you must heard is that they improve your night vision. Yup that’s right, carrots contain the largest amount of carotene found in any vegetable which is responsible for this improvement.

This cool fact was put into good use during the Second World War when high carotene carrots were bred for pilots to eat.
